I would be lying if I said this edit took 5 minutes. I also experimented with aperture size to try and get more in focus. Based on the angle, a focus stack would have been the only way to get a sharp subject from top to bottom. That would have taken far longer than a daily shot should.

I settled on f/9 as it gave me a balance (albeit imperfect balance) between bokeh and subject focus. Due to the angle I wanted for the shot - the sundial effect - I lost a lot of detail at the base of the casing.
